Career Opportunity and Primary Roles / Responsibilities
Drive revenue growth across the services and product portfolio by setting performance targets, managing a Salesforce-based pipeline, forecasting bookings, and executing capture plans from opportunity identification through closure.
Take ownership of key customer accounts, act as an executive sponsor, and build strong senior-level relationships.
Generate new prospects through research and self-led initiatives, assess market needs and competitive dynamics, and provide ongoing market intelligence including trends, regulatory considerations, and customer feedback.
Represent the organization at industry events and maintain communication with trade associations, government agencies, and international representatives.
Promote company offerings, strengthen customer relationships, and serve as an internal advocate to ensure needs are met in alignment with the Quality Management System.
Develop a deep understanding of customer organizations, review RFIs/RFPs/RFQs, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure responses and implementations fully address customer requirements.
Partner closely with Senior Technical Project Managers and Project Leads to drive organic growth within existing accounts and ensure seamless execution of customer initiatives.
Develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns to increase brand awareness and support sales objectives.
Create promotional and advertising materials in collaboration with the Graphics Artist, maintain consistent messaging, and track KPIs to evaluate campaign effectiveness.
Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational goals.
Required Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in related engineering discipline and MBA from an accredited institute or equivalent practical experience
Ability to analyze data, interpret trends and derive actionable insights from market research and marketing campaign performance
Ability to develop commercial strategies that support business objectives
Ability to create innovative advertising ideas and the design of engaging marketing collateral contributing to revenue growth
Technical cognizance to lead sales initiatives for the Services portfolio and Real-Time Operating System product offering (M-RTOS)
Demonstrated sales and negotiation experience
Strong presentation skills
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, engineering management tools, marketing tools, platforms and digital marketing disciplines (SEO, content management, email marketing), CRM tools, etc.
Bilingual English/French skills oral & written
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Miscellaneous Requirements
5+ years of experience in a project engineering environment with a strong grasp of product and program management or 10+ years of related engineering experience
Significant experience with direct client interaction, at management and working levels
Knowledge of Export Controls and regulatory environment
Experience in aerospace and defense, industry regulations, including procurement acquisition framework & practices and/or in other target market sectors
Knowledge of systems, hardware and/or software engineering standards
Knowledge of contracts and contracting methods
Work can be done remotely.
For employees based in Montreal, the work model is hybrid (at least one day at the office).
The position might require travel to visit customers (in North America)
Knowledge of English is required to communicate and work with customers outside the province of Quebec. / La connaissance de l'anglais est requise pour communiquer et travailler avec nos clients situés à l'extérieur de la province de Québec.
