Career Opportunity and Primary Roles / Responsibilities
- Work with System Engineers, Embedded Application Software developers and MANNARINO customers to specify and design board support packages.
- Integrate software onto partners/customers proprietary boards
- Develop robust, reliable, efficient, and testable low-level software interfacing with sensors, actuators, and other peripherals
- Develop software documentation in accordance with the project certification requirements/guidelines
- Support the software verification effort
Required Competencies
- More than 5 years of demonstrated experience in the following areas:
- Embedded software development in C and C++ language
- Linux development environment any Distro/Yocto build environment
- Real-time operating systems, processor architectures, communication protocols, communication buses, etc.
- Knowledge of standard interfaces and interactions between low-level software and hardware blocks (CPU Multicores, DSPs, special-purpose accelerators, on-chip peripherals, caches configuration, etc.).
- Experience with scripting languages (Bash and Python preferred)
- Experience with Device drivers development (CAN, UART, SPI, etc…)
Miscellaneous Requirements
- Protocol Cyphal (open source)
- Experience with ARM Cores (A or R processor families)
- Experience with Lauterbach development tools
- Experience with Ethernet stack development
- Experience with Network Interface Cards drivers development
- Work can be done remotely.
- For employees based in Montreal, the work model is hybrid (at least one day at the office).
- The position might require travel to visit customers (in North America)
Knowledge of English is required to communicate and work with customers outside the province of Quebec. / La connaissance de l'anglais est requise pour communiquer et travailler avec nos clients situés à l'extérieur de la province de Québec.
