Career Opportunity and Primary Roles / Responsibilities

We are currently looking for System Test Engineers with various levels of seniority for an EVTOL project to support the design, set up and execution of the verification / testing plans applicable for various systems.

Primary responsibilities include understanding system specifications and developing tests cases in a Hardware-In-Loop environment to fully verify requirements in accordance with company and industry standard methodologies:

• Develop test cases and procedures in alignment with the project certification requirements/guidelines
• Troubleshoot failures and implement corrective actions
• Improve efficiency by contributing to the testing and simulation environment

Interfacing with the customer and other team members, the candidate must be able to work independently. Excellent communication skills will be required.

Required Competencies

• Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering or other related engineering discipline
• 5+ years professional experience with system level testing of Aircraft Systems
• Ability to understand system requirements to create test procedures and automated HIL test scripts.

Technical Competencies

• Experience with Software and Hardware in the loop verification environments (i.e.: dSPACE, Opal-RT, MATLAB / Simulink, Labview, etc.)
• Knowledge of scripting languages and environments typically used for test script development (i.e.: Python, XML, etc.)
• Knowledge of requirements managements / issue tracking tools such as JAMA, PTC, DOORS, etc.
• Experience with various communication protocols and interfaces (e.g., CAN, ARINC 429, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, RS485, RS422, etc.).
